Simply in 2018: the world’s Top 50 best-selling tours generated a record $2.21 billion — up 12% year-on-year by $240 million and Ed Sheeran's Divide Tour is the highest grossing with $213.9m over 2.6m tickets sold for an average price of $80.90 across 52 shows (I've been seen Ed live at the O2 so to read more about my experience CLICK HERE!)

Personally, asides from food and other essentials my biggest expense is concert tickets, (they have definitely not gotten cheaper and my bank account is not happy).

Seriously, according to the BBC in 2016 (the latest data available) it was £45.49. Times have most definitely have changed. My most expensive general admission concert was BTS and I paid £160 (figure not including Facility or Service charges) for one GA ticket.
